Shamayna was founded in 2018 by Nikky Lesnoy and Mikhail Vardin. Refusing to be confined to a single genre, the band draws from a wide spectrum of heavy music - from Sludge and Southern Metal to Stoner, Psychedelic Stoner, Stoner Doom, and Doom Metal.

Through the years, Shamayna has undergone several lineup changes, constantly evolving while sharpening its identity.

Today, the power trio features Mikhail Vardin on vocals and guitar, Mikhail Sleptsov on bass and Sergey Kuvalda driving the grooves on drums.

In 2023, Shamayna unleashed their debut full-length album Shamacaine on Wet Records (CA, USA). T

he record was met with enthusiastic acclaim from heavy music fans across the globe, marking a bold step onto the international

scene.

 

They just finished their second full-length album which is fully mixed,mastered, and wrapped in killer artwork. Their most powerful and atmospheric work so far.

 

After years tearing up stages across Russia,they’re now coming for Europe.
